Mediafactore is an independent news organization based in Southern California. It produces live streaming and recorded content gathered by multimedia journalists working in the field. Mediafactore maintains the independence of its reporting by not monetizing content or accepting corporate support.
2. Our Approach
Mediafactore’s approach to news coverage is based on a form of public journalism. We cover events as they happen, provide a wide angle view and then drill down by asking participants to tell the story. There are no reporters leading the conversation. There are no studio anchors framing the report. Just real people telling the story as it happens. Our editing process is limited to ensuring that reports are succinct, cohesive, and above all rooted in truth and facts.
3. Our Heritage and Experience
Mediafactore takes inspiration from the journalistic heritage and New Media experience of its founder. He comes from a journalism family that includes an award winning press photographer, publisher of three newspapers, a reporter and columnist. As a college student, he freelanced for newspapers as a graphic designer, photographer, and reporter.
Since then our founder has accumulated nearly 40 years of creative, technical, and senior management experience in New Media disciplines such as multimedia content creation, streaming media, social media, e-commerce, and digital marketing, as well as app and AI development.
Our heritage drives Mediafactore’s devotion to covering stories, finding the facts, and telling the truth. Our experience enables us to deliver the news using the latest technologies across multiple channels free for viewers and free from corporate influence.
